The New York Times Regional Media Group offers a wide variety of opportunities for professional development and career advancement. The Times papers are always looking for talented reporters, copy editors, photographers and artists who want to hone their skills or move into management.

Newspapers in the Group, ranging in size from 11,000 to 120,000 circulation, are located in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana and Northern California.

The Regional papers offer a wide array of corporate-sponsored training programs, as well as mentoring and coaching. Programs range from reporter and copy editor training to supervisory and leadership workshops.

The Regional newspapers also encourage members of the Times Company family to move within and between our businesses as they build their careers. All jobs are posted across the Times Company.

Partnerships with The New York Times and Boston Globe

The Group papers have a cooperative partnership with both The New York Times and the Boston Globe that allows some of the Group's top reporters, photographers and editors to spend up to two months working at the larger papers.

Management Leadership Program - Leadership to Readership

The New York Times Regional Media Group has a strong commitment to the development and training of its leaders in the newsroom. Representatives from NYTRMG newspapers are selected to participate in a program designed to lead change aimed at increasing readership and improving the relevance of community journalism.
